PROSPERITY CONSCIOUSNESS

This is a guide to discovering yourself as an unlimited being with unlimited potential to prosper in the world. The ideas you are about to encounter will show you the source of the world's riches. With them you can create for yourself financial success, personal fulfillment and peace of mind.

The immediate value of this document depends on what you apply these ideas to and how well you apply them.

You can create an immediate cash flow with them by printing them out and having them read to you by anyone you choose for whatever you have self-esteem enough to charge. I suggest $100 just to start you looking at what you think your ideas are really worth.

The learning experience of receiving these ideas has intrinsic worth, well over $100. You will be exchanging money for ideas, goods and services, as in any financial transaction, but in this case you are receiving something of exceptional value. You get to determine the value and negotiate the price after you have received the ideas and understand their personal application. Everyone can receive value from them and enrich their lives.

You can sell them as Consultations by setting an appointment for an hour or more and reading this document to your client and having your client read it to you. You can have as many clients as you like and receive as much compensation as you feel you deserve. You can even establish a Center, connect with other Centers, network with other teachers of prosperity and generate a continuous personal cash flow for yourself and the people around you.

To start the game; after you read this document, you should have an imaginary conversation with the author, negotiate the price and pay for it. Now you can, with integrity, negotiate with other people to read your print out of it and you can read it to them. If you have at least one new person a day read this document to you each day, you will successfully spread the ideas and have fun negotiating with each person that reads it to you and, even more importantly, you will develop a successful business consciousness.

You should be very willing to have the same people read this document to you several times...say once a week because the ideas are so new and powerful that they may get ten times as much out of it the fifth time they read it as they did the first time. It is desirable to have your clients read it to you once a week so that the discussion about it becomes deeper and more practical with each appointment. A weekly discussion for a month provides the opportunity to integrate and assimilate these great ideas into practical action.

It might take some of your clients eight hours to read your print out, so don't get frustrated if it takes an hour to get through the first section of the document. If it takes longer than an hour to get through the reading and discussion, it is recommended that you stop and make another appointment at a later date so the client may study and integrate the information between appointments. The time it takes to read and discuss the information is determined by how many of the ideas are new to the people discussing it. It may take some clients an hour and it may take others a week. It is certainly best to give your minds plenty of time to absorb and integrate these ideas.

The knowledge of prosperity consciousness is the most valuable of all business knowledge. It provides the foundation for success in any kind of business. The experience of negotiating the price of your consultation with 50 to 100 real people is an invaluable educational experience that provides you with basic training for success in any kind of business. (Not yet available in any business school I know of!) It is very important that you realize and remember that the Money Game is a game, not to be taken seriously. People in our society tend to take money much too seriously. A sense of humor is required when discussing money. It is as important to be able to lose money and to experience failure as well as success gracefully without losing your humanity. All the wealthy people I know, and I know lots of them, have learned how to fail successfully through lots of experience. I've included some money jokes at the end of this document in the hope that it will lighten up your consultations and stimulate your own sense of humor.

SECTION TWO
PROSPERITY CONSCIOUSNESS AND POVERTY CONSCIOUSNESS

Prosperity Consciousness is your natural state of unity with spirit, nature, humanity and your inner self. It is knowing that the abundant riches of the universe are there for your loving and caring use...to creatively express your divinity in the world. You only have to learn Prosperity Consciousness once and when you do, you always have it with you and you can turn it into cash anytime you feel like it!

Poverty consciousness is the fear of lack and denial of self-worth. It is mistrusting the natural abundance of life and ignoring your creative potential. It is a socially reinforced mental illness that afflicts even people with plenty of money. Money Slavery, one of it's expressions, is working only for the money, without enjoyment or fulfillment from the work itself and it is based in fear and doubt. No amount of money can compensate for a lack of fulfillment in one's work. Without it, there can never be enough money to spend nor enough time to enjoy it. Without the joy of life, even spending money becomes joyless work.

Money Slavery is upheld by the belief that people are basically lazy and won't work unless they are coerced by the fear of poverty. People stay in uncreative stifling jobs out of the belief that this is necessary for economic survival. They fear that to do their own choice of work would require the sacrifice of financial compensation. This poverty belief, in their own and other peoples minds, is the only reason that they experience it as so. In actuality, once we are attuned with our true nature, we love to work as an outward expression of our being.

The real truth is that when we choose work which engages our creativity and interest, we work for the enjoyment of what we are doing. Then we have access to tremendous resources of enthusiasm and energy which enable us to create great financial success, as well as greater health and happiness. When we express ourselves this way in work, we produce something of real value to share with others, worth far more than the products of resentful poverty consciousness people. We deserve to be prospered for doing our true work.

What this country needs is not more money...but more people who have some of it.

SECTION THREE
LIMITATION AND BELIEF

Even though we are essentially unlimited spiritual beings, our experience of this world is often one of limitation. Many people often live in a delusional world of isolation and scarcity, living a life that's patterned after the expectations and limited ideas of others, choosing to ignore the special gifts they have to share with the world and the special opportunities for growth and learning in their particular life situations.

These experiences of limitation are reflections of our basic beliefs about ourselves and our universe. These negative attitudes were formed by such experiences as traumatic hospital births, parental disapproval and expectation, and social conditioning. Negative beliefs pattern our thoughts, feelings and actions, creating our experienced reality, which reality we then use to justify the negative beliefs. For example: "I know I'm a poor person, because I don't have any money." While we may think that our belief that the world is a hostile and uncaring place is caused by our experience of other people not supporting us, in actuality the reverse is most often true.

There are many limiting beliefs that can reinforce poverty consciousness. Some people feel that money is evil and that material things are unspiritual and corrupting. Many people have such low self-esteem, such guilt and self-hatred, that they feel they don't deserve prosperity. Others fear that if they are too successful they won't be loved because that was their experience with their parents. Children are often punished for expressing creativity and freedom. Still other people, in spite of the freedom guaranteed by the United States Constitution, feel emotionally that freedom is dangerous because of the way they were treated by their parents. This emotional bondage is then projected into their view of the economy. Often people fail as an expression of anger or resentment or even as a way of asking for help and support. We can easily add our own examples from our own experiences.

However limited our past patterns were, we do have the power of choice in the present. By changing our beliefs, we change our reality. We give practical expression to our new consciousness by changing our actions. In buying and selling this consultation document, we are making a powerful choice to change to Prosperity Consciousness.

AFFIRMATIONS

An AFFIRMATION is a positive life-supporting statement chosen on purpose to replace former non-life supporting beliefs. It is a statement of the unique life force flowing through each individual and an acceptance of each person's special gifts and opportunities. Affirmations help us to develop prosperity consciousness by redirecting our thoughts from habitual negative patterns to a fuller realization of our true potential.

Here are some PROSPERITY AFFIRMATIONS to use in writing (write each one 10 times with a response column), in speech (say each one 10 times outloud while looking in a mirror) and thought (say them over in your mind as many times a day as you can bring them to your conscious mind).

Create your own Prosperity Affirmations from your unlimited creative imagination.

Affirmations can have the effect of bringing to our consciousness whatever resistant feelings and limiting beliefs are blocking the affirmation's effectiveness. To become fully aware of just what those resistant thoughts may be, you should use a response column when you write affirmations. Then acknowledge the feelings without judgment and examine the beliefs; then release them, knowing that we are replacing them with affirmations of self-acceptance, honoring the abundant life force which flows through us.

The best way to free yourself from feelings of hostility, depression, sadness, hopelessness and helplessness is by breathing. Pull a DEEP inhale high into your chest and then clear to the top of your head and relax on the exhale, letting gravity do your exhale for you. Breathing is the simplest and most powerful technique of spiritual purification. It always has been and it always will be. The best Breathing Teachers we know of are known as Rebirthers. TURNING EXPENSES INTO PROFIT

Your income will exceed your expenses when you learn to turn everything that you spend money on into a profit making business. How about inviting your friends over for dinner and charging them so that you can make a profit on your food.... Or how about buying clothing at wholesalers and selling enough at a profit to pay for your own clothing budget....Or you could buy two cars instead of one and rent one out to make enough money to pay for both of them...Or buy a really large house and rent out rooms to your friends to make enough money to make the mortgage payments. SAVINGS

Saving money successfully can be accomplished by having a least two bank accounts

The secret to saving money is the realization that money doesn't solve financial problems, imagination does! So if you use your imagination instead of drawing out of your savings, your savings will build up to a large amount so that you can live off the interest.

Investing a portion of your income in consciousness growth is at least as valuable as paying rent. Winning the MONEY GAME should be fun.

The goal of this document is to make you a 'Master of Money', for you are the source of the money system. Money itself is not wealth. It is only little pieces of paper with various words, numbers and pictures on them. Ideas, goods and services are true wealth, and they originate in your mind! Money has value because people agree to use it as a means of exchange and a symbol of wealth. The ones, zeroes and paper which constitute the form of money may be said to represent Infinite Being, Infinite Potential, and Infinite Manifestation. Money represents the creative power of Infinite Intelligence. Your personal connection with Infinite Intelligence is your source of Prosperity Consciousness and your ability to make money.

Does Prosperity Consciousness depend on the existence of money? The '...lilies of the field' prospered abundantly without money, by their total trust of the abundance of God in nature. Even if the present money system should collapse, your prosperity consciousness, your unity with spirit, nature, humanity and your inner self, would create for you an abundance of all things needed. Furthermore, you could re-create the money system in you community the same way it was created originally. Money exists to serve people, not people to serve money.

As the means of exchange in our culture, money can support you in creating well being and fulfillment for yourself and others. Mastering money, mastering the laws of earning, spending, saving, and investing is basic to living intelligently in a society using a money system. Consider what you could be doing if you did not use the lack of money as an excuse to hold yourself back!

The fastest way to increase your earnings is to increase the quality of your prosperity ideas. Profit is new wealth created by the individual business person out of nothing but self-esteem and imagination. The profit margin that is built into the price of products and services is totally arbitrary. Example: one store may charge twice as much for an item as a discount store across the street and still do as great a volume of business on that one item...Or, one therapist may charge twice as much as another therapist solely because of the value they place on themselves and their work. Sometimes a therapist that charges the least does the best work and yet has fewer clients. Ultimately, the price of everything in the market place is determined by the buyer and seller, in every transaction.

It is as important for buyers to master the art of negotiation as it is for sellers. Consumers start winning the game of money more often the minute they realize that they are business people. It is as important for shoppers to have a successful business mentality as it is for merchants. All your dealings with money can be profitable. Spending money, as well as earning it, creates wealth by the stimulation of ideas, goods, and services exchanged. Saving money develops Surplus Consciousness and is good practice in giving to yourself. Intelligence in mastering business is what wins the Money Game.

The government gets its authority to print money from you. So is there really any reason why it couldn't send everyone a share of money each time it is printed? The money system has been dominated by a few, but educated and aware people are no longer willing to keep losing the Money Game. You deserve an abundance of money, to be able to successfully play the Money Game. You deserve the winning feeling as an affirmation of your humanity and your divinity.

Like the game Monopoly, the money system is a game. When somebody wins and somebody loses, the game stops. Money is then redistributed equally and the game starts again. Since the government gets its authority to print money from you, one of your basic economic rights is to receive a regular supply of money from the government on an equitable redistribution program so that you can stay in the Money Game. Although social welfare programs do this to some extent, a new intelligent redistribution program should be established. The government should pay taxes to the citizens rather than the citizens paying the government. Our governments can create their budgets out of nothing...the same way the individual businessman creates profit.

Consider the effect on our economy and society if everyone had an abundance of money. What if everyone successfully participated in the economy, stimulating the exchange of ideas, goods, and services? What if the masses of people owned real estate, owned stock, and enjoyed financial independence? There is enough real estate in this country for every person to own at least two pieces...one for income and one to live on.

People who work for money fear that if everyone had an abundance of money, nobody would work, there wouldn't be any ideas, goods, or services to buy and money would become worthless. This fear may be temporarily true for some in the transition to Prosperity Consciousness. What would you do if you had more than enough money?

You are lucky that enough people have already mastered Prosperity Consciousness to hold the economy together no matter how much insecurity you may fear. The truth is that Prosperity Consciousness people often work harder than others because they are enjoying what they do. Once you have survived your greed motivation, work becomes divine recreation and loving service.

SECTION EIGHT
TEACHING

YOU are teaching all of the time whether you know it or not. If you make Prosperity Consciousness an enthusiastic part of your life, others will learn it from you. You can create Prosperity Consultations and Seminars, teaching as many people as you like, for as long as they desire to be taught. You could mail a print out of this document to out-of-town friends and follow up with telephone consultations. If the highest paid people in our economy were people who taught love for money, competition in the love industry would be pretty enlightening.

Teaching Prosperity Consciousness as a business is a good way to master it yourself. By sharing your experience and intuition and by using your creative imagination to demonstrate the laws of prosperity, you can discover yourself as the source of a wealth of knowledge. You get to study and review prosperity ideas each time you teach them and practice receiving financial compensation for enjoyable, creative work which is of real service to others. You are a legally self-employed individual, subject to the same taxes and regulations as other businesses.

Our society is changing rapidly. People who can safely guide society through these changes with love and wisdom will be rewarded with both honor and money. One of the greatest services you can render is to organize a monthly town meeting on your block in which everything can be discussed from economics to spiritual enlightenment. The human family must have family meetings in every neighborhood if the brotherhood and sisterhood of God's children is ever to be realized. It is very wise for you to use the leisure that your financial abundance gives you to organize your neighborhood for love and spiritual enlightenment as well as practical political issues. Republican democracy is a sham without neighborhood town meetings for everyone to participate in.

The family of man deserves to work together in a spirit of cooperation and love to fully realize the brotherhood and sisterhood of God's children. Are you willing to share these ideas with others and demonstrate them in practical action? Are you willing to teach others Prosperity Consciousness...for your extended benefit, as well as theirs? What would our society be like if everyone mastered Prosperity Consciousness?

Simplicity is super-abundance. People of the world will be happier and feel more prosperous if they increase their accumulation of spiritual wisdom instead of material things. The production and marketing of spiritual ideas and tangible services is superior to that of producing goods because it doesn't use up natural resources nor contribute to pollution. It is a paradox in our society in that people are more willing to pay for worthless junk than they are to pay for eternal wisdom. Furthermore, people feel proud when they get rich by producing and selling material clutter, whereas people in the self-improvement business who bring about healing, pleasure and happiness from the teaching of spiritual wisdom feel guilty when they receive money for it. Simplicity is super-abundance for people who function successfully in the world without cluttering their lives with material things that they have to support. Most dogs and cats are more financially independent than their owners. Which is more intelligent...the pet or the human being?

The self-improvement business offers an opportunity for people to become wealthy without driving the prices of real estate and the necessary goods for a prosperous society into ridiculous levels of inflation. The services business enables our economy to expand and more and more people to prosper without consuming more and more worthless piles of junk, destroying natural resources nor polluting the beauty of this planet.

Credit is what enables people to spend money they haven't earned...

SECTION NINE
NEGOTIATION

When you have read this document, ask yourself, "How much are these ideas worth to me? How much money am I willing to pay as a symbol of that worth, and how much can I conveniently afford to spend right now?"

When you teach the laws of prosperity to others, you are giving a professional consultation that is worth at least $100. Yet, you also receive value by giving the consultation, so you could do it for free. The actual price is determined by negotiation. Spiritual ethics means that you don't desire anybody else's money unless they want you to have it. It also implies the willingness to give freely the valuable things that you have received in life as well as the willingness to trust other people's love for your support, success and financial abundance.

The purpose of negotiation is to enable both sides to win. The price you ask should not impose a psychological or financial burden on people. Nor should you charge so little that the consultation is devalued. By letting people set the price of the consultation, you learn about them as well as yourself. The amount of money people pay you is determined by your self-esteem, your willingness to receive, your understanding of business and money, as well as their willingness and ability to pay.

Use your intuition to make the negotiation process part of the consultation. If people have difficulty giving you enough money, show them how this reinforces their fear of lack and their poverty consciousness. If they are determined to give you more than they can really afford, out of guilt of receiving your services, show them how a willingness to receive is essential to prosperity consciousness. You may do a series of consultations with some people, negotiating the fee each time, until they develop enough self-worth and prosperity to pay you the full $100.

Your willingness to negotiate is a demonstration of your service motivation in teaching. A basic law of prosperity is that your rewards in life...tangible and intangible...are proportional to the quality and the quantity of your service. Prosperity Consultations produce intangible rewards that are even greater than the tangible rewards.

GIVING...RECEIVING...TITHING

Your capacity to give determines your capacity to receive. Mastering generosity is one of the secrets to great wealth. Giving affirms your unity and love with other people and with the Infinite, so it opens you to the riches of life.

It is our goal to get this information as widely distributed as possible; schools, colleges, newspapers, any and all means that will enable the public to be enriched by it. You may use and distribute this information as creatively and freely as possible

You may want to practice generosity by tithing ten percent of the money you earn from giving this consultation, to JLA Enterprises, who created this web page document for you. Tithing is voluntary! I don't want anyone feeling guilty about not tithing. It is for your benefit as well as ours. We also suggest that you give 5% to 10% of the income you earn to the person who first gave you this document as an acknowledgement of appreciation. You might examine your willingness to make that person financially independent. Your willingness for them to prosper is probably equal to your willingness for yourself to prosper.

Another way to tithe is to give 5% to 10% of your earned income to friends and strangers who have not yet mastered Prosperity Consciousness.

Giving away 30% of your income will teach you generosity, and learning generosity will cause your income and success to increase at least twice as fast. One of the originators of this document gives away over 90% of his income for humanitarian purposes. The 10% which is left is more than he can spend on himself. Funny thing, when he first started tithing, he felt he couldn't afford to give away 10% of his income! Tithing is primarily an act of love, generosity and appreciation. One of it's purposes is to allow the receivers to experience receiving and feel supported. Don't be surprised if the people that you teach this information to support you with the same quantity of generosity with which you support others. When you teach enough people to tithe to you, it will free you at least temporarily from money bondage. If it enables you to develop more creative and humanly valuable work, then it will have lasting benefit. But if it only magnifies your insecurities and fears, then excess money produces feelings of worthlessness that people inheriting great wealth have long known. It is important that you master generosity and thankfullness now.

It is important to realize that ideas sometimes produce a temporary high and a period of excitement which is sometimes followed by feelings of disillusionment and/or depression. It is important to realize that this is a normal process so that you are not fooled by the feelings of triumph or disaster.
